2018 Summer Acute Care Research Experience – TGH/USF EM

The course is designed to expose advanced undergraduate, medical students and rotating residents to research in emergency medicine. MS4 students should register for MDR 8710, Research in Emergency Medicine for May, June or July. 

At the end of the summer, students should either have already submitted or be planning to submit an abstract for a poster presentation. Ideally, the majority of students will present at Symposium by the Sea in Ft. Myers, Florida in August 2018 (funded through course). Abstracts will be due in mid-July.

Please complete the summer symposium session sign up form, the research project interest form and the funding form by March 30, 2018 with applicant decision by April 2, 2018.

All students, residents and others participating in research, must complete CITI training. This must be completed by researchers at all levels every three years. You must also be credentialed by the hospital. Upon acceptance to the summer symposium you will receive more instructions for credentialing. Credentialing paperwork will be due April 15, 2018.
